- Fukoku's corporate trademark “Φ” is the mathematical symbol for the “Golden Ratio” and represents “perfect balance.” To achieve “perfect balance” in our past, present and future business operations, we cannot simply be contented to rest on our past achievements, but must preserve what works, replace what is outdated, and add what is needed. We believe this balance will help us to create new corporate values. The shade of blue used as our corporate color represents the color of the oceans (marine blue), the sky (sky blue), and the blue color of the Earth seen from space. From this underlying meaning, Fukoku views its responsibilities as a corporation are to maintain management transparency and ensure continued progress throughout the world community.
The goal of Fukoku is to build a company with youth and vitality in which the staff maintain their dreams and romantic ideals and approach their work with enthusiasm.
Fukoku's corporate slogan “Yes we do!” is our declaration to embrace future challenges while carrying on the history and tradition of Fukoku. “Yes we do!” expresses our positive approach of finding ways to meet customer requests and the demands of society, rather than denying the possibility.
Corporations are supported by numerous stakeholders and others involved in the company and generate profit through business activities. However, both people and companies can fall out of favor when acting contrary to the norms of society. In the current age, corporations are being held to stricter standards of social responsibility and, hence, must themselves declare to the public their intent to comply with social norms and must resolve to put this intent to practice. The meaning of “perfect balance” carried by the “Φ” trademark is not viable without coexisting with the community. In order to commit ourselves to fulfilling these social responsibilities, we have established corporate guidelines on the basis of which all executives and employees of Fukoku must conduct themselves in pursuing the basic principles of management.
