Pulley dampers- Dampers are designed to reduce torsional vibration generated by the engine during operations, to prevent damage, and to reduce engine noise and vibrations. Fukoku offers solutions for a wide range of needs through a damper lineup having numerous shapes and materials, including viscous dampers, pulley dampers, and isolation pulley dampers. Rubber dampers require optimum mixing of rubbers, which determine the properties and reliability of the damper. Here, Fukoku has garnered high praise for its unique expertise and materials technology.
Fukoku has also cultivated superior technology in suspension products such as torque rods and bushings that enhance rider comfort and driving stability. Fukoku employs V-rods that move vertically to position the vehicles axles in the front-rear and left-right directions. Although the bushing portion of the V-rod has a rotating configuration, high durability can be achieved without the use of a shell or bearings. Door couplings- Fukoku provides prompt solutions to increasing customer demands for anti-vibration products used in rotating systems, such as power transmission clutch couplings and motor regulator couplings (door couplings) that absorb the impact of power windows arriving at the top or bottom of their range. Praised for their reliability, Fukoku's door couplings designed for power windows have captured 90% of the domestic market share.
Viscous mounts- Fukoku products are playing an active role in the fields of construction and industrial machinery. Viscous mounts are incorporated into bulldozers, power shovels, and other construction equipment for their ability to greatly reduce vibrations in the cabin. Cabin suspension mounts, with their superior shock insulating properties, improve riding comfort and reduce cabin noise. These improvements have greatly influenced the recent rise in numbers among female operators.
Railcars products
Absorbers for railcars- Recognizing the need for measures to reduce vibrations and noise with the increasing speeds of trains, Fukoku collaborated on research with the Railway Technical Research Institute and created a variety of products, such as cushioning rubbers for linking railcars while mitigating forward and backward movement, brake caliper parts, and ballast mats and other railroad mats employing our own anti-vibration technology. Fukoku's numerous railcar and railroad products have been incorporated in existing tracks and bullet trains, contributing greatly to the maintenance of a comfortable railway system.
