Fukoku had begun manufacturing medical infusion bags since 1996. The bags were based on our manufacturing technique and quality control system learned from manufacturing auto parts. Then, manufacturing results of medical infusion bags have been utilized for manufacturing culture bags. We manufacture culture bags (injection molding, film molding and its assemble) in the clean room Class 1000 & 10000. As the regenerative medicine is rapidly making its progress in studies of culture cells in recent years, an importance of non-contamination and biohazard avoidance in cell products is reconsidered. We have developed our original products by aiming a materialized closed system of cell culture by using the accumulated manufacturing technique in manufacturing medical infusion bags. We accomplished a completed closed system that enables in reducing an initial and running cost by using a functional bag connected in each operation.

Our culture bags have high permeability of gases. It allows widely reduce a contamination risk of bacteria through needless vent, an oxygen burned by cells is supplied from film. Our Culture bag is suitable for culture non-adherent cells, leukocyte is one of the example. We are able to supply bags for 2L , 1L , 600mL and 300mL. 300mL bag can be adjusted a volume you need by the special clamp. The upper picture shows a part of our product. The under picture shows the new developed cell rinsing bag for centrifuge. It is conformed to general centrifuge by using our adaptor. It can be connected to the culture bag by sterile tubing welder. A separation of cultured cell accommodates a centrifuge tube for general usage. But this way has a risk of bacterial contamination because medium is touch with air. We developed the cell rinsing bag to dissolve the risk and obstacle for closed-system of cell culture. We can provide accessories and stand for you to ensure that the closed system does the job. Our closed system does not require costly equipment and consumable goods.
