Seals are used for preventing the leakage of various liquids and gases, but rubber is often not suitable for use as a seal. Responding to strong customer demand, Fukoku has used its excellent material development to expand into such industrial fields as automobiles, pneumatic tools, and industrial machinery. Boasting strong material development, excellent production technology, and a strong system of quality assurance, Fukoku has developed highly reliable products, including seals used in automotive brake systems, which are critical for safety.

Diaphragms

Radiator gaskets-
Fukoku develops a wide range of high-performance seals with advanced functions, designing brake booster diaphragms with a wide range of materials and shapes to suit various operating conditions and objectives. We have also developed heat-resistance and fatigue-resistant materials for use in brake caliper piston seals. Both products are developed employing a rationalized production process to ensure a stable product quality, which has helped expand our market share. By producing more than twenty million radiator gaskets for five countries including Japan, this product has played a role in our global expansion. Fukoku has also gradually improved its track record in duty valves for satisfying emission regulations.

CVJ boots

CVJ boots- The wheels of an automobile are rotated by the power of an engine transmitted through a rotating shaft. Components of the shaft are coupled by a mechanism called a constant velocity joint, which is required to transmit a constant rotation to the wheels despite the extreme load generated when the axle is tilted. Since these joints must endure harsh conditions while reliably transmitting power, Fukoku set to work on developing new boots and in 1987 succeeded in developing Japan's first CVJ boots formed of thermoplastic polyester elastomers. Further research in polymer chemistry has helped us meet higher demands of the age with lightweight boots having an excellent service life.
