FUKOKU offers employee welfare & benefits programs and training programs to help employees to build careers and work more flexibly. We offer these programs to allow employees to work based on their individual desire for growth and the various events that occur throughout life.
Employees may shorten up to two hours per day on their working hours to provide childcare until their children enter middle school. This can also be used with the flex-time program.
During fiscal year 2019, 100% of female employees took childcare leave. They have all come back and working in their original workplaces.
In addition to the paid days off all employees earn each year, employees also enjoy long vacations lasting nine days during the spring, summer, and the New Year’s holiday. We also offer a program to save up paid days off for injury or illness, allowing employees to take a paid leave of absence over a long period of time if they need to recuperate or care for a family member.
These programs help employees to build long-term assets. The employee shareholding association provides employees with 100 yen for every 1,000 yen they save, while the employee savings scheme provide 10 yen for every 1,000 yen.
In addition to training programs such as new hire training, we also provide self improvement services available to all employees. We support our employees in developing long-term careers.
Each year we hold a ceremony celebrating the company’s founding on December 24, in which employees who made significant contributions that year are awarded. 134 employees received a variety of awards in 2020, such as individual awards, group awards, and special awards.
We currently have 15 teams active in clubs. Employees can build deep friendships with one another through club activities.
