Dec. 1953 Established under the name FUKOKU Rubber Industry Co., Ltd. (head office: Nakano, Tokyo; plant: Arakawa, Tokyo) for the production and sale of industrial rubber products.
Apr. 1956 Succeeded in the development of wiper blade rubber technology, and began manufacturing.
Nov. 1957 Constructed the head office building and the Kawaguchi plant in Kawaguchi Motogo, Saitama, and began operations.
Sep. 1967 Constructed the Ageo plant in Ageo, Saitama, and began operations.
Sep. 1972 Made equity participation in Sueyoshi Kogyo Co., Ltd.
Aug. 1980 Constructed the Gunma plant in Ora, Ora district, Gunma, and began operations.
  Transferred the main branch to Ageo, Saitama (thereafter transferred to Chuo, Saitama in Jun. 2005 and then back to Ageo in Jun. 2011).
Jan. 1983 Established Thai FUKOKU Co., Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand as a joint venture, and began local manufacturing.
Jan. 1986 Changed firm name to FUKOKU Co., Ltd.
Apr. 1986 Constructed the Chubu factory (now the Aichi plant) in Takahama, Aichi, and began operations.
  Successfully developed ultrasonic motors and began manufacturing.
Apr. 1987 Opened the Osaka sales office.
May 1987 Established the subsidiary FUKOKU Korea Co., Ltd. in Ansan, South Korea, and began local manufacturing.
May 1990 Constructed the Gunma No. 2 plant in Chiyoda, Ora district, Gunma, and began operations.
Oct. 1994 Registered with the Japan Securities Dealers Association.
Dec. 1995 Established Siam FUKOKU Co., Ltd. in Samut Prakan, Thailand as a joint venture, and began local manufacturing.
Feb. 1996 Made equity participation in Tokyo Rubber MFG. Co., Ltd.
Dec. 1997 Established the subsidiary PT. FUKOKU Indonesia in Java, Indonesia. (Now PT. FUKOKU Tokai Rubber Indonesia after equity participation by Tokai Rubber Industries Co., Ltd. [now Sumitomo Riko Company Limited] in May 2004.)
Jan. 2001 Established Shanghai FUKOKU Rubber & Plastics Industry Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China as a joint venture.
May 2001 Established FUKOKU America, Inc. Holdings and the South Carolina Production Company in South Carolina, USA. (Merged in Jan. 2006; now FUKOKU America Inc.)
Jul. 2003 Established the subsidiary Dongguan FUKOKU Co., Ltd. in Dongguan, Guangdong, China.
Mar. 2004 Listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
May 2004 Established Qingdao FUKOKU Auto Fittings Co., Ltd. in Shandong, China with funding from the subsidiary FUKOKU Korea Co., Ltd.
Mar. 2005 Listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Sep. 2005 Established the subsidiary Shanghai FUKOKU Rubber & Plastics Industry Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
Aug. 2007 Began operations at the Korat plant of Siam FUKOKU Co., Ltd.
Oct. 2010 Established FUKOKU India Private Limited in Maharashtra, India.
Nov. 2010 Established Thai FUKOKU Panaplus Foundry Co., Ltd. in Samut Prakan, Thailand as a joint venture with funding from the subsidiary Thai FUKOKU. (Became the subsidiary of Thai FUKOKU Co., Ltd. in Nov. 2012.)
Jan. 2011 Established Nanjing FUKOKU Bolangfeng Xiangjiao Co., Ltd. in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China as a joint venture.
Mar. 2011 Established the subsidiary FUKOKU Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Dec. 2011 Established PT. Trim Rubber in Java, Indonesia as a subsidiary of Tokyo Rubber MFG. Co., Ltd.
Feb. 2012 Began operations at the Korat No. 2 plant of Siam FUKOKU Co., Ltd.
Apr. 2013 Began operations at the Nishio factory in Nishio, Aichi.
Apr. 2014 Established the subsidiary FUKOKU Czech s.r.o. in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic.
Jul. 2014 Established the subsidiary FUKOKU Mexicana, S.A de C.V. in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Oct. 2019 Opened Urawa office
Apr. 2022 Listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Nov. 2022 Closed the subsidiary FUKOKU Czech s.r.o.
